Plymouth Pride Cancelled Due to Severe Weather Forecast

The Pride in Plymouth website has issued a statement regarding the cancellation of the Pride events.

Due to forecasted severe weather conditions on Saturday 10th August, specifically high winds, Plymouth Pride 2019 has been cancelled for this date.

Following full consultation with all of the relevant authorities including, Devon and Cornwall Police, emergency services and the Met Office, a final decision was made today Wednesday 7th August to cancel the event – with a view to rescheduling it at a later date.

Brand new club set to march

The Nottinghamshire Hurricanes RFC are teaming up with the Nottingham Lions FC at Notts Pride this weekend, helping to celebrate and encourage the growth of LGBTQ+ sport in the region.

The recently formed Hurricanes will be marching throughout the city on their first Notts Pride, especially to raise awareness about the first Gay & Inclusive Rugby club in the country of Nottinghamshire.
